Best Ever (Easy!) Green Smoothie
I've been on a smoothie kick lately. I've been making one almost every morning for breakfast, and when paired with some eggs & toast I find that I am staying full all the way until lunch time. This green smoothie has been my favorite of late. Super duper easy, and delicious!
I typically don't measure anything. I just throw it all in! I love using the Magic Bullet because it's easy to portion and blend. First I started with spinach, then a few slices of frozen pineapple, mango, and peaches. My favorite part comes next: a few slices of fresh ginger. Sometimes, I also like to add a spoonful of plain greek yogurt - but I didn't in this smoothie here.
Next is the liquid. I always do a half and half mix of almond (or coconut) milk and Simply Orange orange juice. I like this brand of OJ because there's no added sugar and just all the good stuff, keep the smoothie still pretty healthy. On days that I know I'm going to be particularly busy at work, or need an extra boost of focus I'll add a teaspoon of matcha powder. Blend, blend, blend and that's it! Enjoy!
