Date Night at Home: V-Day Gift Idea

It's so secret that on any given day husband and I would rather have a date night in than go out. Not only is staying in friendly on our budget, but we truly like spending time together, whether it's watching our current Netflix favorite or just talking about our week. We've never really been big on celebrating Valentine's day, but I still like to do something small to let husband know how much I appreciate & love him.

I love the idea of gift boxes. Just pick a theme, some products and you're good to go. They are great for birthdays, holidays, special occasions, or just as a little treat to encourage someone. This Date Night at Home box is universal to everyone, fully customizable, and a great excuse for some intentional quality time with your spouse.

I built this box with the mindset of spending an evening focusing on each other, which is why I didn't include a movie. I found these conversation cards, which spur on questions like, "How do you imagine spending our 25th wedding anniversary?" and, "Describe your idea of the perfect vacation for the two of us." I think these are a fun way to get the conversation flowing and maybe even learn something new about your significant other. The box also includes a game of uno, two small bottles of wine, chocolate, a candle, and popcorn. A recipe for the perfect romantic evening. Of course, you could add any other item you want to customize it to you & your partners likes. All that's left to do is curl up on the couch and see where the evening takes you!
